Work Release at the Utah County Jail is about the best thing next to not being in jail at all (since for the work-day you are actually not at jail). If you can get work release (it requires approval from your sentencing judge), you should definitely take advantage of it.
Here is how it works:
1) You sign out of jail every morning to go to your job. You can wear your regular clothes to work and even while you are in the jail (with the exception of shoes - you have to wear sandals).
2) You call the jail to let them know you are at work. The jail can call your work at any time or stop by and verify you are actually working.
