Question: When are visitation appointments allowed and how many people can come visit at a time? Does our name have to be on a list and if so how do we put in on the list? What are we allowed to bring them in case of a birthday while detained?

Jail Media: You can usually bring up to 3 people to each appointment. Visitation depends on the housing unit that an inmate is housed in - call the jail at 801-851-4200 to find out which housing unit your inmate is in.

Your name doesn't have to be on a list - you will sign in when you get to the jail and they will make sure you don't have outstanding warrants, etc. You can't bring them anything while they are detained, even for their birthday or Christmas. You can send them a book directly from the publisher only or put money on their books.
